This sampler set is made up of a wide variety of the most popular sizes, shapes and materials available from Amy's Rag Bag. It's a great starting point if you're new to cloth pads and your period is pretty average. The only difference between this set and the standard non-vegan option is that this set has flat cotton instead of silk.

Your pads won't look exactly like the ones pictured here. You can select colors and themes (quirky or vintage style for example) from a list on the order form, and you can see pictures of the fabric before I sew it up, and then more pictures of the finished pads before I send them to you. To get an idea of what I mean by quirky, vintage style or any of the other themes, browse the tags and this gallery. This set was a custom order for nautical, Western and winter themes. I don't have any of the cowboys left, but, as of this writing, I still have most of the other prints you see here.

These eight pieces can be combined to make a lot of different pads.

The biggest heaviest pad that you could build with this set is on the left. It's made up of a 10" Bow Tie, 8 1/2" Standard Soaker and 7" Standard Topper. In the middle, you have a more compact medium absorbency pad, and on the far right is a flat cotton-topped light flow pad that is backed with a water resistant layer of synthetic fleece.

A Topper and Soaker worn without the backup gives you a streamlined but still absorbent pad. A topper can also be worn alone as a liner.
