Suggestion Box

In-stock, Made-to-Order, and Something Else, Maybe...

What are the pros and cons?

When you buy in-stock pads, you can see exactly what you're getting and the pads are ready to go right away. However, since they need to be photographed and listed individually, they are usually more labor-intensive and therefore more expensive.

Made-to-Orders are a great option if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks and don't have your heart set on any particular fabric. You can have the pads built to your own specifications. If you don't need too many customizations, made-to-orders are less expensive than in-stock. The exact fabric selections will usually be a surprise.

There's another option I could offer. I found out that my site is capable of keeping track of inventory. I could create a catalog page that would tell you exactly how many flannel topped liners I have in the forest colors theme, for example, and you could buy those from stock. You wouldn't see pictures of the exact pads but you'd at least know the color scheme, materials and dimensions and you wouldn't have to wait for them to be made. The pricing would be the same as made-to-order. What do you think? If enough people are interested, I'll go ahead and set that up.

While I'm at it, I'm open to any other requests and suggestions as well. I'm always looking for ways to improve.

Id love to see pads in stock

Id love to see pads in stock on etsy or somewhere like that tbh. That is where I buy most of my pads from, and femininewear too more variety on there would be brilliant as im in the uk

I definitely like the made to order idea. The pads that I've bought from individuals (rather than companies) have always been made to order. I'm a rather particular individual I guess and when it comes to pads, i see no problem being particular :) Plus, i love that your made to order pads are actually cheaper. Awesome!

I really like the third

I really like the third option. I've got a pretty full stash at this point, but I do like to "window shop", and this option retains that aspect (which I think is probably good for sales) while saving you the time and effort of individual posts.

Made to orders have been my

Made to orders have been my favorite. After buying a few different styles from a few buyers I know what materials, size, and length works best for me and I love being able to pick out my own pattern. The personalization of the product far outweighs the wait (2-4 weeks) of a custom order :)

I like the idea you mentioned

I like the idea you mentioned above about listing how many pads you have in one palette at one time. I love the pads I have of yours and I kind of like the surprise factor of opening up the package and seeing what goodies I got! ;o)

I really like the

I really like the made-to-order system. Pads are not something that I have to get on an emergency, therefore I don't mind waiting a week or two. I like being able to choose - ask for something a bit different, and being surprised. it's also nice to know that someone made this pads just for me... I imagine it's also nicer to make something when you know for sure that someone will enjoy this. sometimes I want a costume order, but I don't ask the seller because I don't want to bother them... when you have a special system that's built on made-to-order it's comfortable and I don't feel like I'm bothering you. A suggestion for a change - maybe include some lager sized pads? I would buy a larger pad if you offered one... (for night and similar)
